Paul D. Appley, IHS 1985, of Whitesboro, NY, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2023, with the ones he loved the most by his side. He fought a courageous battle with ALS. He was truly a Superman. Paul was very humble, patient, proud and kind. He loved very deeply. Paul was a devoted husband to the love of his life, Julie Sherlund Appley. They were joined in marriage July 3, 2016 on the beach in Cedarville, MI. He was the best father in the world to his two sons, Joshua (Meghan) Appley of Gaithersburg, MD and Daniel Appley (Emily Jory) of Ilion. Paul was the happiest in his final days spending time with his grandson, Kaden Appley, and puppies, Sam and Leo. Paul was born in Herkimer, NY on August 9, 1967, to Gordon Appley and the late Gayle Walker. He was raised and educated in Ilion, NY as a member of the class of 1985. After graduating from St. Luke’s School of Radiography in 1997, Paul worked at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center as a CAT Scan Supervisor until his retirement in 2018. Paul had an infectious smile and he lit up a room wherever he was, even on his hardest days. He amazed everyone with his strength, positive attitude, spirit and grit. Paul loved to travel, especially anywhere that had a beach. He & Julie traveled to Jamaica, Punta Cana, Florida, Washington DC, Myrtle Beach, Pearl Harbor, Maui and Aruba in their short time together. They joined friends in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota and Detroit for a game. They attended weddings for family in Grand Rapids MI and Nashville KY. There wasn’t anywhere Paul would not go to see his son’s play. Paul’s favorite vacation was the annual trip to the Upper Pennisula of Michigan with his family. His favorite time of day was Sunset and he loved happy hour, especially at home on his deck. It was a party whenever he was present. Paul was an avid sports fan and loved his Red Sox, Cowboys, Orangemen, Lakers and Rangers. He loved watching Dan play football for SUNY Cortland and was lucky enough to watch the Red Dragons win their first National Championship title this year before he passed. Paul was an active participant of the Barringer Road Old Men’s Basketball League for many years. His greatest joy was coaching his boys and being the model Father. Paul renewed his love for golf when he met Julie and they enjoyed many rounds in many places together. Paul was most passionate about wrestling as he had a long career with the sport, first as a wrestler for Ilion and SUNY - Morrisville then as an official for over 30 years. Following his time as an active official on the mat, he continued to serve the association as the President of CNYWOA. He was inducted into the Section III Wrestling Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2022. Wrestling was the reason Paul & Julie met. Paul enjoyed to read, was an avid history buff, especially about native American tribes and World War II battles. He spent significant time reading the Bible, "I want to make myself right with God,” he said. He knew Jesus was waiting for him. Paul is survived by his loving wife, sons, and grandson. He is also survived by his bonus children, Matt (Kayla) Sowers of Marcy and Emily Sowers (Jon Raineri) of Syracuse. He leaves behind his dad, brother Darrin Appley, sisters Kristyn Silva and Sharra Appley. Paul was especially loved by his in-laws and Michigan family, Robert and Laura Sherlund and the entire crew. He left many nieces and nephews, and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his mom, his treasured pets Howie and Newman, his maternal grandmother, Grandma Walker and niece Harper Grace Sherlund. They all had a profound impact on his life. Equally important to Paul were his friendships, specifically, Brett Couchman, who showed him the way through life, marriage, and death, and Daniel Ploutz. The three of them were able to share a lifetime of memories together. Paul was a member of the Ilion Elk’s Lodge BPOE #1444 for over 30 years. In addition to the people above, the family would like to thank Dr. Young and her team from the Upstate Medical Center, Neurology & the ALS Clinic who guided Paul through life and death; Sandy Tucci, Paul & Tina Fiorini, Kathy Smith, and the CAT Scan Department of St. Elizabeth’s. Janice (Phelps) Orendorf, IHS 1960, age 81, of Mohawk, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Jan was born on October 24, 1942, in Ilion, a daughter of the late Waldo and Ada Phelps. She was a graduate of Ilion High School where she enjoyed playing sports. Jan married Gary Orendorf of Mohawk on May 23, 1970 and together they built a beautiful home filled with love and raised their family just a few minutes outside of town. Jan worked for many local businesses over the years, accepting new challenges whenever life offered. She truly enjoyed being with her co-workers and customers, many of whom will remember her from the Martin Reel Co, The Mohawk Village Market, and most recently the Town of German Flatts Offices where she finally decided she could retire and enjoy some quiet time. Jan was a lifelong member of the Ilion First Presbyterian Church where she served in several roles, including Deacon for many years. She loved animals, especially her dalmatians, and rescued countless dogs, cats and rabbits, and even a few birds. She was happiest when surrounded by her family. Over the years, they all enjoyed so many hobbies: building and driving antique and classic vehicles, attending her sons’ and grandchildren’s sporting events, recitals, plays and stock car races, supporting local ice hockey, especially the Utica University men’s and women’s teams, woodworking, snowmobiling, boating, camping, yardwork, anything to keep busy and be together. If you were friends with her boys, you just called her Mom, Mom-O, or Ma, and she thought the world of you. Mom loved family dinners for any reason at all. Cooking for 5 or 6 made her smile, but if it was 10 or 12 or more, and quite often it was more, she was beaming. Everyone was welcome at the house, no matter the time of day, and every visit was too short. There was always a spare room open, unless some, or all, of the grandchildren were staying over again, then you were more than welcome to the couch. Jan is survived by her husband Gary and their two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Lynne Orendorf and Shaun and Heather Orendorf; grandchildren, Sarah Smithson, Claire Orendorf, Mason Geno, Dane Geno, Zoey Orendorf, and Joslyn Orendorf, and great-granddaughter, Rosie Jane Smithson, as well as her sister, Sue Hartman, her brothers and sisters-in-law, many very special nieces and nephews, and all of her dear friends and extended family members, including her "third son" Butch Benedict and Jennifer. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Spike and Cappy Phelps, and brother-in-law Leo Hartman. Friends and family may call at Whiter Hendrix Funeral Home, 100 Otsego St. in Ilion this Sunday, December 10th, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with a memorial service following. Thank you to everyone who has reached out and offered support in so many different ways, especially our aunts and uncles, our country road family, the Spattos and the Wollabers. Please consider memorial donations to the First Presbyterian Church of Ilion or the Herkimer County Humane Society. Mom - You will forever be the source of our strength. You taught us it is sometimes necessary to be hard and stand tall, but it is always right to be soft and giving. You showed us hands calloused by hard work can still have the gentlest touch. We will never stop working to make you proud. Love you always. To leave condolences for Jan’s family, please visit www.whiter-hendrix.com. (December 9, 2023)

James E. (Jim) Fahy, IHS English Teacher, age 85, a longtime resident of East Herkimer, passed away peacefully at the Foltsbrook Center on Thursday, November 2, 2023, with his loving family by his side. Our beloved dad was born on July 14, 1938, in Adams, MA, the son of the late Thomas P. and Anne (Burns) Fahy. He was a graduate of Utica Free Academy and earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees at Syracuse University. Dad married the love of his life, our mom, Joan Emhof, on June 4, 1960, at St. Thomas's Catholic Church in New Hartford, NY. They went on to create a beautiful family of three daughters, Patricia Cormier and husband Robert, Mary Miller and husband Brian, and Chrissy Miller and husband Mike: two sons, James Fahy and wife Kiyomi and Michael Fahy and wife Janice: 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Dad has one surviving sibling, our lovely Aunt Margaret "Peg" Hyland. A highly regarded teacher in Ilion High School's English Department, where he also served as chair, our father taught 9th and 12th grade English, created a "Great Ideas" course for college-bound students, and in his later years, a sign language course. He excelled and enjoyed participating in athletics as well. After being a student athlete in high school and a fencing instructor in college, when employed by Ilion Central School, he served as a bowling coach, a tennis coach, a baseball coach, and a referee for basketball. He was also an avid cross-country skier, fly fisherman, tennis player, and golfer. After 33 years, our dad retired from Ilion, but continued his teaching career in new capacities. He taught a three-level sign language course to adult learners and was a private tutor to younger students. One of his greatest joys over his final twenty-five years was the "Pen in Hand" Writer's Conference held each year in Little Falls, NY for select high school junior and senior level writers from many of the area high schools. He created and taught the course for young poets, as well as compiled a handbook of fresh poems each year. A conservationist who built solar panels to heat our household water in the summer and a wood stove to heat both our home and water in the winter, our dad was a true Renaissance man: a sportsman, a singer, an instrumentalist, a painter, and, his life's work, a poet. Dad had a deep love for nature and a deep appreciation for life. He "cracked dawn" many a morning to witness the day's birth. He wrote hundreds of poems in reverence of the glory of Mother Nature and the wonder of the universe. He wrote thousands of poems over his lifetime, most about family, life, and love. Our dad loved well and was well-loved. He will be missed beyond measure. We want to warmly thank the staff at the Foltsbrook Center for the loving care our father received. We will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Vincent A. Enea Funeral Service, 527 E. Albany St., Herkimer, NY (315-866-1500). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sts. Anthony and Joseph, South Main St., Herkimer on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Thomas Babuich (Father Tom), will officiate. The burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Town of Herkimer. All memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, YN 38105. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. (November 6, 2023)

Lieutenant Commander Robert A. Luke, IHS 1952 and IHS Faculty, USN, (Ret.) passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side, on October 17, 2023. R.A., as he was known by all, was born on October 29, 1934, in Ilion, NY, to Dr. Robert and Elizabeth Luke. Following graduating from Ilion HS, R.A. spent one year at Hobart College before receiving a commission to attend the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. While at the Academy, R.A. played a year of football for Navy and 4 years of lacrosse, and received an Engineering degree. R.A.'s next adventure was flight school training in Pensacola, Florida, which resulted in him becoming a Naval Aviator, a position he cherished, until his retirement in 1977. R.A. proudly served his country for over 24 years, including an active role in many national crisis, including the Bay of Pigs invasion off the coast of Cuba in 1960 and multiple tours of duty in Vietnam as a squadron commander of (9) P-3 Orion aircraft. In his later years, R.A. finally opened up about some of his missions, especially discussing certain escapades to the delight of his grandchildren. He was particularly proud of having the most in flight hours among naval aviators at the time of his retirement- R.A. loved to fly! Following his retirement from the Navy, R.A. obtained a Master's Degree in Education and taught math and science at his high school alma mater, Ilion H.S., for 17 years. R.A. is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 66 years, Elizabeth (Cashman) Luke, whose tireless dedication to their 6 children was instrumental in allowing R.A. to serve his country so many years in the USA and abroad; without Betty, there really is no R.A. Also surviving are six children; Robert A. Luke, Jr., of Ilion; Julie Lewis and her husband Robert of Ilion; Douglas A. Luke, of Binghamton; Thaddeus J. Luke and his wife Heather of Ilion; Thomas M. Luke and his wife Kristin of Ilion; and Kyle D. Luke, of Ilion. R.A. truly loved and enjoyed spending time with his 12 grandchildren, Alexa, Kelsey, Tayler, T.J., William, Reese, Danielle, Madison, Paige, Ryan, Robert (Max), and Ella and 3 great grandchildren, Chase, Eliana and Jaxson. R.A. was pre-deceased by his parents, Dr. Robert and Elizabeth Luke and his sister Diane (Luke) Getman and her husband, Captain Robert Getman, and their daughter Ashley and son R.T. and is survived by his nieces and nephews, Scott, Shawn, Chris, and Kelly. R.A. truly loved spending time with his friends and family in many ways, including a lifetime of memories he made at his camp at Brantingham Lake, where the days were filled with boat rides, water skiing, and wintertime snowmobiling. However, it was really the simple pleasures of camp that brought R.A. the most joy - spending time with his family and friends at his Adirondack 'home away from home', enjoying cold beer, good food, and great company. With the exception of his 24 years in the Navy, R.A. was born, lived, and died a resident of his beloved village of Ilion. R.A. could be seen virtually every day on a walking tour of the village, completing many miles and making multiple stops at his "clubs", i.e., The Elks, K of C., or the Marine Corps League. R.A. relished in meeting up with his buddies and discussing the topics of the day, military history, high school sports, or the next snowmobile excursion. The friends R.A. truly loved are too numerous to mention, but David and Lois Stone's companionship through thick and thin has been truly amazing and for which the family will be forever grateful. A funeral mass to celebrate the life of R.A. will be held at Annunciation Church in Ilion, NY on Saturday, October 21st at 10:30 a.m. with the burial taking place immediately afterward at Armory Hill Cemetery. Rebecca M. "Becky" (Pestar) Wiegand, IHS 1988, age 53, had an unforeseen passing on Sunday, September 17, 2023, in the company of her family. Born in Ilion on May 26, 1970, Becky was the treasured daughter of Pamela M. "Pam" (Small) Pestar and the late Albert A. "Al" Pestar. She graduated from Ilion High School in 1988, and continued her education, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in education. On October 22, 1993, Becky wed Eric Wiegand. The couple truly were best friends, committed to each other through the ups and downs, never regretting a single moment. They were the completion of each other's souls and balanced each other's personalities. Becky was employed in accounts receivable and billing at Northern Safety, a position she enjoyed and where she made lasting friendships. She was loved by her coworkers and her group considered each other family. Being her father's daughter, Becky possessed a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. She was also incredibly compassionate and loving, and accepted people for who they were. Becky was a lover of animals and gave a home to rescued cats and dogs throughout her life. Through the video game Dungeons and Dragons, her true friends in life were also her crew; the camaraderie truly pleasured her heart and soul. One of her greatest titles was to be called "Aunt," and was she a great one! It brought her great joy bringing her nieces and nephews out for fun adventures to the Utica Zoo and Herkimer ARC Park. An avid reader, Becky never settled on a particular genre. She gave her attention to Stephen King, religious books and true crime. One of her most favorite times of the year were Christmas and any holiday she could gather with her family. She brought laughter and a sense of joy to each occasion and everyone appreciated the child in her that reflected how she engaged with her nieces and nephews. Martin "Babe" Aloysius Lang, IHS 1950 passed away peacefully at his home in Salt Lake City, UT on September 13, 2023 at the age of 92. He was born on December 11, 1930 in Ilion, NY to Charles and Kathleen "Kate" Lang. Known to everyone as "Babe" his name truly reflected his young-at-heart spirit. Babe was the third of four children and graduated from Ilion High School. He was an extremely talented athlete, as a young man he signed a contract to pitch for the St. Louis Cardinals. A veteran, he also served his country in the Army Airborne Division. He met the love of his life, Christine "Chris" Lang at the Ilion pool - the story goes that they both showed off their diving skills to one another. They must have liked what they saw as the two eventually married in 1956. The young couple spent their early years in Ilion where Babe began a 30-year long career with Sperry UNIVAC. Babe and Chris had their first child in 1957 and by 1970 they had a family of nine children. Sperry UNIVAC took Babe and his family from Ilion to Salt Lake City in 1977. Babe's love of sports was a lifelong passion. Throughout the years, he played in an array of various baseball, basketball and golf leagues with both family and friends. He usually would out-play the field in almost any kind of sport. Golf in particular was a common bond that he shared with his regular golf buddies, his children and grandchildren. He loved it so much that after retiring from Sperry UNIVAC he went on to work at Bonneville Golf Course for several decades. He enjoyed having his family come up to the golf course to play a round and an all-time favorite - the Lang Stair Climb (47 steps that per Babe, "You gotta get every step, you can't skip!") at Bonneville after the 18th hole. Babe's dedication to family was ever-present. Anyone that walks into his garage would see a homemade board listing the names of his wife, children and son/daughters-in-law, flanked by photos of some of his favorite athletes. Family memories recall him coaching and umpiring little league baseball, swimming relay races in the family pool, and showing love and affection to his beautiful wife. Babe left behind so many unique memories for his friends and family - always ready to dance; his proclivity for bread and peanut butter dipped in coffee, angel hair spaghetti, and Haagen Dazs coffee ice cream; rollerblading and ice skating well into his 80s and 90s; and playful things like the hidden quarter or detached thumb trick and his spot-on Donald Duck voice. Babe's hugs were the best, his sense of humor was so entertaining, his personality was so endearing, he was just...the greatest. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his beloved wife Christine Lang; eight children, Pat Lang, Ned Lang (spouse Elizabeth and granddaughters Tirzah & Tarci), Joe Lang (spouse Allison Onishi and grandsons Jesse & Brady, Ted Lang, Jon Lang, Mary Lang (grandson Rocco), Betsy Correnti (spouse Steven Correnti and grandsons Connor & Cooper), step-grandchildren, Parker and Colby Correnti, and Dan Lang (grandchildren Hannah & Carter); sister Judy Walsh; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and extended family. He was preceded in death by both his parents Charles and Kate Lang; two brothers, Charlie and Don Lang; and son, Don Lang. A funeral service and mass will be held in his honor at St. Ann Catholic Church (450 East 2100 South, Salt Lake City, UT, 84115) on September 28th, 2023 at 11:30am. Babe will be laid to rest at Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park (17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah 84065) at 1pm. (September 24, 2023)

Patrick "Pat" Cirillo, IHS Cafeteria Staff, age 96, formerly of Mohawk, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023. He was a resident of The Grand, in Ilion. Pat fought a long and difficult battle with dementia over his last years, but never gave up that fight! Born on March 23, 1924, at home, in Mohawk, he was the son of the late Victoria Cristello Cirillo and Joseph Cirillo, who both came straight from Italy. Pat was a World War II Veteran, leaving high school early to enlist in the US Army and was assigned to the 1st Armored Division and fought in the European Theater, seeing action in Germany as a member of a tank unit and was honorably discharged as Private First Class, in November 1946. He returned to Mohawk where he received his high school diploma. He married Dolores Taffi Cirillo, on December 31, 1949, a union that lasted over 54 years, until her passing, in February of 2004. This union was blessed with his only child, JoAnne, who he always referred to as his favorite daughter, due to his sense of humor. Pat came from a large family consisting of 7 siblings, him being the baby of the family. He was predeceased by all his siblings: sisters, Mary Storino, Theresa Sanzo and Jennie Gillette; and his brothers, Frank Cirillo, Michael Cirillo, Joseph Cirillo, Jr., and Dominick Cirillo. Pat worked for the Library Bureau for the first 5 years on his return from the War and then became an employee of the US Postal Service as a letter carrier and finished his career as a rural carrier. He retired at the age of 55, after 32 years and certainly got the most of out of his retirement, collecting his pension longer than he worked, which he casually mentioned in conversation from time to time, again, showing his sense of humor, "sticking it to the man”. After retiring from the Postal Service, Pat went to work at the former Ilion High School, in the cafeteria. Affectionately known as "Mr. Pat”, he thoroughly enjoyed working with the lunch ladies staff and made many good friends while employed there. He also went on to drive for Birnie Bus for 15 years, another job that he enjoyed during his retirement. Pat was of the Catholic Faith and attended the Blessed Sacrament Church, in Mohawk. He was a life member of the DAV and former member of the American Legion in Mohawk. Anyone that knew Pat, knew he enjoyed playing the ponies at OTB with his brother, Joe, enjoyed making the "deal" on a new vehicle, sometimes more than once per year and listening to the big band sounds in his new vehicles. He was often compared to being a doppelganger for Tony Bennett and he thought that was pretty cool. Pat was affectionately known as "Moose" by his nephews, Son in Law, and members of his extended family, a name that nobody can recall the origin of. Pat was extremely proud of his grandchildren, Ashley and Kyle and their athletic (both high school and college) and career accomplishments, often asking what their status was and how they were doing with everything. Pat is survived by his only child, JoAnne Stephens and her husband, John, of Ilion; his granddaughter, Ashley Darling and her husband, Ethan, of Frankfort; his grandson, Kyle and his girlfriend, Kelsey, of Charlotte, NC; his great-granddaughter, MaKenna Darling; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Blessed Sacrament Church, 71 E. Main St., Mohawk, NY 13407, starting at 10 a.m., with full military honors and burial to follow at the Mohawk Cemetery, Columbia St., Mohawk. A reception will follow at the John Fitzer Field (Ilion Volunteer Fire Department Building) 39 Pleasant Ave., in Ilion, following the cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions can be made in Pat's memory to the Blessed Sacrament Church Office, 228 S. Main St., Herkimer, NY 13350 Pat's funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Enea, Ciaccia & Applegate Funeral Directors. (September 13, 2023)

He was born in Utica on May 6, 1931, the son of Anna Murphy and Silas J. Garnsey. Jim (known affectionately to friends and family as "Mort," a childhood nickname that stuck with him throughout his life) received his education in Utica and Ilion public schools, graduating from Ilion High School in 1949, where he was elected President of his senior class, beginning a lifetime of political involvement. Jim was an accomplished athlete and lettered in football, basketball and baseball. After graduating, Jim enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served his country from 1949 to 1953. During his naval service, which occurred during the Korean War, he was stationed on the island of Guam in the Pacific where he serviced helicopters as a radio repairman. His time in Guam was an experience that he never forgot, and it fueled a lifelong interest in the history of the Navy in the Pacific War of 1941-45, a subject on which he amassed an impressive library. After he was honorably discharged from the service, Jim returned to Ilion and was married to Dorothy Loopman on September 20, 1952 at the Church of the Annunciation, beginning a loving union of more than 70 years. At that time he began working for New York Telephone Company as an installer/repairman, retiring in 1989 after 37 years of climbing poles and fixing phones. While working full-time and raising a family of five, Jim coached Little League baseball, and was especially proud of having coached future Major League player and fellow Ilion resident Charles "Boots" Day. He also became heavily involved in local politics with the Democratic Party. An early run for village office ended in defeat. Later, he was elected mayor of the Village of Ilion and went on to serve as mayor for the next ten years, having been re-elected four consecutive times as a Democrat despite a nearly 2 to 1 Republican advantage in enrollment. Among his many accomplishments as mayor was the implementation of the Urban Renewal program that had been initiated under his predecessor, and which revitalized and changed Ilion forever. Jim's commitment to his community continued long into his retirement. He spent many hours serving on the boards of the Herkimer County ARC, the Ilion Public Library, the Board of Trustees of Herkimer County Community College, and the Little Falls Hospital Board of Trustees. He continued to work tirelessly with the Village of Ilion Democratic Committee to elect local candidates. His service to the Democratic Party in the Village of Ilion and in Herkimer County included the memorable occasion of driving Bobby Kennedy to a local campaign event. Jim also ran for the New York State Assembly in 1978 with the support and encouragement of the late Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, with whom he appeared at a joint campaign press conference, an experience that he treasured and never forgot. In addition to public service, Jim loved woodworking, reading, golfing or just sitting on the back porch talking to everyone who passed by. He and his wife Dorothy also loved to travel and enjoyed many overseas trips with the Herkimer County Community College travel program, visiting Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, and Australia and taking cruises to the Caribbean, Mexico and Nova Scotia. Their trips to see their son Tom in Montana, daughter Sue in Vermont, and Jim's good friend Robert Luther in Arizona were annual events. Jim is survived by his wife, Dorothy Garnsey of Ilion; his daughter, Margaret Burger and son-in-law Eric Burger of Ilion; his daughter, Susan Hillyard and son-in-law, Richard Hillyard, of Burlington, Vermont; his son, Thomas Garnsey and daughter-in-law Bridget Garnsey, of Bozeman, Montana; his son, Robert Garnsey, of Astoria, New York; his daughter-in-law, Georgeanne Garnsey, of Frankfort; and his brother-in-law, Donald Loopman, of Victor, New York. Jim's home caregivers, Deb, Millie, Gina, and Georgeanne, loved him dearly and he loved them right back. They made his life comfortable and enjoyable. He eagerly awaited their visits. Jim was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Ann Noffer and brother-in-law, Leslie Noffer; his brother, Silas Garnsey and sister-in-law, Eleanor Garnsey; his sister-in-law, Patricia Loopman; his beloved son, James Kevin Garnsey; and his grandsons, Evan Garnsey and Nicholas Garnsey.
