Name Top Ten Seniors At Ilion Central High

ILION - The names of the top ten graduating seniors, based on academic performance, at Ilion High School were announced today by school administrators.

Richard Bohr, class valedictorian, currently holds an overall academic average of 94.28. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ned Bohr, 57 South Fourth Ave., and is the president of the Student Council. He has been active in varsity football, basketball, baseball, cross-country, key club, and is a member of the senior Honor Society. He was also selected as a student of the month and was a delegate to Boy's State.

Sandra Collins, class salutatorian, holds an overall average of 94.27. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Brown, 103 Elm St., and is vice president of the National Senior Honor Society. She is editor of the school newspaper and business editor of the yearbook. She is also secretary for the girl's athletic council and is a student council representative. She has been active in inter-mural softball, basketball, volleyball, and field hockey. She was selected as Teenage Woman by the Ilion Jaycees, as a student of the month, and was awarded the Renssalaer Science Award. She has also been a delegate to Girl's State.
