Ilion High's Wallace Gay, (second from right), an eighth grader, was given the opportunity to conduct the orchestra in a portion of the Peer Gynt Suite by Edvard Greig. Standing from left, Alan A. Allen, music coordinator at Fayetteville Manlius Central School; Peter Becker, Ilion eighth grader, Wallace Gay and Stuart Raleigh, assistant conductor of the orchestra.
