Winter Weekend Committee

MEMBERS OF THE Ilion High Winter Weekend committee put the finishing touches on plans yesterday with voting for the queen and a faculty-student volleyball game. Front row (from left are Mary Daily, ice skating chairman; Diane Bates, general chairman; Bob Strife, Student Council president; and Sue Baker, queen co-chairman.

Standing are Lorrie Pratt, button sales chairman; Mark Morris, refreshment chairman; Dick Gardinier, toboggan race chairman; Terry Kelly, Thursday co-chairman; Bob Streeter, hockey chairman; and Leslie Peplinski, queen co-chairman.

The remainder of the weekend will include: today, snow sculpture judging (4p.m.) and a basketball game against John F. Kennedy High School (7:45 p.m.). Saturday, skating races at Hunts Field (10:30 a.m.); Clinton Figure Skaters at Russell Park (12 noon), toboggan races at Russell Park (1:30 p.m.), and Winter Carnival Dance featuring the "Eyes" (8 p.m.). Sunday, ski races at Russell Park (10 a.m.), hockey (12 noon), and broom ball (2 p.m.).
