Ilion High Informative By Elaine Mutchler - May 16, 1964

Tonight and Sunday evening, the musical comedy, "Bye Bye Birdie," will be presented in the boys' gymnasium. Much hard work has been put into the production sponsored by the Modem Music Masters Honor Society and the Ilion Teachers' Association. The proceeds will be used by the Teachers' Association for the J. P. Watkins Memorial Scholarship, given every year to an Ilion High School senior who intends to become a teacher.

Ilion High students voted a straight Gold Party ticket into office during Student Council elections last week. Dan McGrellis will serve as president; Betsy Morris, vice president; Joan Withington secretary; Sue Getman, treasurer. Congratulations to the Gold Party victors and also to the Brown Party who put on a good campaign!

Congratulations to the track team which beat Mohawk 90-23 last Wednesday. The team has been undefeated so far this season. Terry Sweeney set a school and league record when he ran the mile in 4:25.2. Al Slocum set a school record clearing the high jump at 5' 10". Keep up the good work!
