DAVE ANGELL- LEFT TACKLE

Captain Dave Angell of Ilion made the comeback of the year after some bad breaks last season, and though Ilion had a poor season, Angell-was driving hard all the time in an effort to pick up the team. His play in Ilion's upset of Herkimer will never be forgotten by those Ilion fans hardy enough to venture out on that terrible weather. 148 votes

BILL STEELE - CENTER-ILION

Steele moved back into his center spot mid-way through the season and did a marvelous job, especially passing the ball to Houseknecht in the Herkimer game, when House's punting proved to be the difference Steele has played all but two minutes of Ilion's last fifteen ball games without ever calling time out. 89 votes
