Joanna Fay Chosen Queen at Ilion High School Dance More than 200 couples including many members of the alumni and their wives attended the annual Junior-Senior Prom given Friday night in the Ilion High School gymnasium. The hall was decorated to resemble a garden scene, following the theme of "A Rainbow of Good Luck." Music was furnished by Rossi's Band. John McKenna and Alan Momberger were co-chairmen. Other committees were: Music,Robert Andrews, Svlvia Reed, Dominick Putch, Beverly Shaut, tickets, Robert Getman , Robert Morris; programs, Jean Nelson and Ann Rorke ; refreshments, Arlene Pears, Wilmonte Nash; Invitations, Jane Russell, Carol Stillwell, Shirley Roche , Elaine Brunette ; advertising, Davi d Evans. JoAnn Nelson, Shirley Swarthout, Edna Conboy; properties, Thomas Pierce, Joanna Fay ; decorating, Verna Fifield, Nancy Burnham, Jay Tuttle, Leigh McDonald, James Russell, Margaret Wagner, Donald Pearson, Marilyn Hiller, Robert Morris. Terrance Boyle, John Fake, Mortimer Garnsey and Ann Rorke. Joanne Fay was declared Queen of the Ball and her escort was Roscoe Reid. The Queen's attendants were Nancy Burnham and Pat Bergan. A large number, about 60 couples, served as patrons and patronesses which helped to make the Prom a most enjoyable affair.
