Ilion Seniors Services Set

Ilion - The Rev. Leonard D. Peale, Methodist church minister, announced today that his topic for the baccalaureate sermon to be given at 7:30 p. m. Sunday in Ilion High School will be "Living in These Times."

The service was scheduled to be conducted by the Catholic pastor this year, but because the Rev. Daniel Horan was newly appointed to the Church of the Annunciation, he asked to be deferred as speaker.

Music, however, will be under direction of Mrs. Pauline Frateschi, Annunciation Church organist and choir director, and the Annunciation School choristers.

Father Horan will give the invocation following the processional, "Faith of Our Fathers," by the choir which will also sing the "Ave Maria" written by Pietro Yon, former organist at St. Peter's Basilica, Rome, Italy.

The scripture lesson will be read by the Rev. Paul Wagner, Presbyterian pastor, and the prayer said by the Rev. F. W. Ainslie, of the Baptist Church. The choir will then sing the anthem. "Sacrum Cum Vivium" by Remondi and "Holy God, We Praise Thy Name."

The closing prayer by Father Horan will precede the recessional by Mrs. Frateschi.
