Civil War Vet To Be Honored At Ilion Rites Special honors will be paid Alonzo Rivers, Ilion, sole Civil War survivor and commander of Ilion GAR, during the Armistice Day parade tomorrow night. Revised plans made last night at a meeting of American Legion provides for the veteran to review the parade from the porch of his home on West Hill. Boy scouts will form a guard of honor and flood lights will be installed. It is announced. It has been many years since a parade has marched up the hill. Another change in plans calls for a massing of colors, bands and drum corps at Elks Club and marching in mass formation down Main Street to Catherine for disbanding. Revised line of march is as follows: Catherine to Main, to Otsego, to Second, to South Third, to Grove, to John, to Fourth, to Otsego, to West, to Main, to Catherine. Social hour and dancing will follow in the legion, rooms, Barringer Road. Parade will start at 7:30.
