![]() Richard LeFever - Albany College of Pharmacy Graduation 1955 Richard James LeFever - IHS 1950 - PharmacistRichard LeFever was born on March 11, 1932 son of Arthur and Gladys LeFever in Ilion, New York. He graduated from Ilion High School with the Class of 1950. During his school year summers, he worked at Baker's Pharmacy, Otsego Street. On August 28, 1954, he married Jean Anne Barber, of Central Square, NY at the Central Square Methodist Church. He later married Janice Shultz, on May 28, 1977, at St. Michaels Church, Central Square. Richard lived in Central Square for 22 years and in Brewerton for 21 years. He was a supervising pharmacist for six years at P&C, Fulton. He owned and operated LeFever Pharmacy, Central Square, for more than 22 years. Richard LeFever died at University Hospital. LeFever, 67, of Manhattan Drive, Brewerton, died Monday, August 9, 1999, at University Hospital. Born in Ilion, he lived in Central Square for 22 years and in Brewerton for 21 years. He was a supervising pharmacist for six years at P&C, Fulton. He owned and operated LeFever Pharmacy, Central Square, for more than 22 years. He was a member of Central Square Lodge 622 F&AM; Elks Lodge 2348, Liverpool; an honorary member of Central Square Volunteer Fire Company; an antiques dealer; and a member of National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors Inc. A son, Matthew, died in 1989. Survivors: His wife, the former Janice Shultz Perry; three daughters, Linda LeFever of Pittsburgh, Pa., Cynthia Davison of Brewerton and Stacy Perry of Syracuse; a son, Martin of Florida; a sister, Mildred Rogers of Ilion; two brothers, Robert of Rome and James of Orange City, Fla.; five grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Watson Funeral Home. Burial, Hillside Cemetery, Central Square. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 631 S. Main St., Central Square.
