Dipiazza Parole Hearing Result for 2022
The email below was sent to me in March 10, 2022. It is from the cousin of Noreen Jones, Allen Irons. Allen requested it be shared regarding the February 2022 Parole hearing result for Benedict Dipiazza. - Aileen Carney Sweeney
Thank you to all who took the time to submit your letters of protest to keep cold blooded murderer, Benedict X. DiPiazza behind bars, and off our streets. Although the victim's family seems like the only benefactor, any of us can be affected by his release. This maniac, repeatedly diagnosed as a Psychopath/Sociopath, was paroled, by accident, in 1999, and within 4 months was back in jail after being found in possession of weapons. You do not need to guess very hard what these weapons might be used for. Especially since he has never, in over 54 years of incarceration, shown any remorse and has never apologized for his actions.
This parole denial does bring some relief for now, but only for a very short time.
In the past, he would be eligible for parole every 2 years since his parole hearings began in 1984. Then, in 2022, New York State shortened this waiting period from 2 years to 1.5 years. And now, the next parole hearing is in less than 1 year from now and set for February 2023!!!!! The State of New York wants him OUT!!!!!!!!! And the State of New York is doing everything they can to give him the opportunity to get out!!!!!
This man has absolutely nothing to lose. And he has promised revenge....it's in the court records! And if he comes to fulfill his yearning, it won't matter who might be in his way.
The family and victims will be calling on you all again to show your support to continue and try to deny his next parole.
Thank you all and God Bless!
Allen

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE NEW PAROLE BILLS DONT ALWAYS APPLY
Convicted Murderers with No Remorse Should Not Benefit
Frankfort, New York,
February 15, 2022:
Local residents campaign to block parole of a convicted murderer that was tried and convicted of first degree, premeditated murder in 1964. In direct conflict to the two proposed bills, sponsored by Senator Brad Hoylman and Assembly member David Weprin, the residents are building a case on why Fair and Timely Parole and Elder Parole is not a one size fits all concept. In this scenario, 77-year-old Benedict DiPiazza has been serving prison time for which he was sentenced to the maximum of 20 years to life. "
"He has been up for parole every two years since and hes up again this month. This tragic story begins on August 27, 1964 when 17-year-old Noreen Jones was brutally murdered. Shot in cold blood after she and her three- and six-year-old cousins and their mother ran from her stalker to seek safety at the local police station. At the time it was considered the most heinous murder in New York state history. The killer had stalked Noreen and her family for more than two years. Noreen wasn't Benedict X. DiPiazzas girlfriend, she wasn't his friend, she was a girl that he was obsessed with and who he relentlessly targeted. "
"Then one fateful day, DiPiazza chased the family down the street until they ran into the police station, and as she ducked under a desk, he reached over and emptied his 9mm semi-automatic pistol into her. Her aunt tried to stop the murderer by beating him over the head with her fists as he fired all while Noreen's three- and six-year-old cousins stood by and watched in fear. When the gun was empty, they were all covered in Noreen's blood and body matter."
"Protective orders were continually violated. The murderer's father, Benedict DiPiazza Sr., a Justice of the Peace, and local judge, continually used his office and legal influence to help shield his son from the multiple complaints and filings. This same judge's father served time in prison for murder.... The State of New York failed to prevent this crime from happening. Up until 1999, the victims, their community and local government have successfully lobbied to have DiPiazzas parole denied. Then, when the system failed, DiPiazza was released only to be arrested and incarcerated again for weapons possession. This can't happen again. He has shown no remorse, continues to make threats and is not safe to live amongst the community. Contact: ALLEN IRONS Phone: 972-342-6778 Email: airons9330@aol.com"
