Herkimer Evening Telegram IHS Seniors 1968 Graduates Plan Further Studies

 

(Editor's Note: This group of 40 Ilion high school seniors is another in the current series appearing in the Evening Telegram. The young people in this group all plan further schooling, and their choice is indicated.)

JOHN KOWALCZIK will attend Rochester Institute of Technology, where he will major in accounting. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kowalczik, 72 Prospect Ave.

ROBERT KURKOWSKI will attend Mohawk Valley Community College, where he will major in electrical technology. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Kurkowski, 15 Hoefler Ave.

MARY M. LOIACANO will attend Morrisville State College, where she will major in Nursing. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Loiacano, 165 S, Fourth Ave.

SHARON LOSIER will attend Alfred Agricultural and Technical Institute, where she will major in laboratory technology. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Losier, 122 John St.

BEVERLY ANN LOZO will attend Central City Business Institute. Syracuse, where she will major in business administration. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Lozo, 120 W, Clark St.

DEBORAH A. MABBETT will attend SUNY at New Paltz, where she will be a pre-med major. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dorr Mabbett, 10 Pine St.

BERT McCUMBER will attend Strayer Junior College, Washington, D. C.. where he will major in marketing and retailing. He is the son of Mrs. Joan B. McCumber, 191 E. North St., and C. H. McCumber, Mohawk.

CLINTON MILLER will attend Rochester Institute of Technolgoy where he will major in chemistry. He is the son of Mr, and Mrs. Charles Miller, 45 Second Ave.

DONNA D MILLER, will attend Orange County Community College, Middletown, N.Y., where she will major in physical education. She is the daughter of Mr and Mrs. Jacob Miller, 376 Otsego St.

MARK MORSE will attend SUNY at Canton, where he will major in engineering. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon H. Morse, 39 First Ave.

CHRISTINE NEHR, will attend Mount Ida Junior College Boston, Mass., where she will be majoring in music. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Nehr, 343 W. Main St.

SHIRLEY NICHOLS, will attend SUNY at Cortland, where she will major in liberal arts. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Nichols, 345 Otsego St.

PATRICK J. O'BRIEN, will attend Long Island University. Brooklyn, where he will major in Journalism. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul O'Brien, 23 S. Fifth Ave.

EILEEN O'CONNOR, will attend Delhi Agricultural and Technical Institute, where she will major in Secretarial Science. She is the daughter of Mrs John O'Connor, 12 W. North St.

PATRICIA ANN OWEN, will attend Utica College where she will major in liberal arts. She is the daughter of Mrs. Roy J, Gurney, 73 Columbia Pkwy.

ANNE LO PASESTELLA, will attend Mohawk Valley Community College, where she will be majoring in nursing. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Paestella, 20 Center St.

LINDA PARKER, will attend SUNY at New Paltz, where she will major in Africa studies. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence N. Parker, Sr., RD 2, Ilion.

MICHAEL D. PARKINSON, will attend Hofstra University, Hempstead, L. I., where he plans to major in Art. He is the son of Mrs. Barbara Parkinson, 17 Armory St.

MARY JANE PARSONS, will attend Auburn Community College where she will major in History. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harley W. Parsons, 4 English St.

LINDA KAY PATREI, will attend SUNY at Geneseo, where she will major in English. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gii Patrei, 6 Division St.

ANN MAIRE PORTER, will attend Wetmore School of Practical Nursing, Utica. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Donald Porter, 241 Second St.

ROBERT POZNIAK, will attend Morrisville Agricultural and Technical Institute, where he will major in Accounting. He is the son of Mrs. Helen Pozniak, 116 W. Clark St.

BETSY L. RATHBUN, will attend SUNY at Oneonta, where she will major in Elementary education. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Rathbun, 11 N. Third Ave.

CONSTANCE A. RAUX, will attend SUNY at Oswego, where she will major in Elementary Education. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Del Raux, 175 Otsego St.

PATRICK M. ROOKE, will attend SUNY at Oneonta, where he will major in mathematics. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Rooke, 176 John St.

NANCY ROWLAND, will attend Mohawk Valley Community College, where she will major in Secretarial Science. She is the grand daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Pfeifer, 124 W. Clark St.

PATRICIA A. SANTMIRE, will attend Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, where she will major in X ray Technology. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Santmire, 7 Bridge St.

WILLIAM L. SCANLON, will attend Herkimer County Community College, Ilion, i where he will major in Accounting. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Scanlon, 309 N. Bellinger St., Herkimer.

GLENN R. SMITH, will attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, where he will major in Aeronautical Engineering. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Smith, 189 S. Fifth Ave.

PEGGY L. SNYDER, will attend Utica School of Com merce, where she will major in Secretarial Science. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Snyder, 76 S. Third Ave.

FRANCES SPEER, will attend Eisenhower College. Seneca Falls, where she will major in Psychology. She is the daughter of Mrs. Mildred Speer, 175 Second St.

CAROL JAYNE SNEDEKER, will attend Mohawk Valley Community College, Utica, where she will major in Liberal Arts. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Snedeker, 334 E. Main St.

JAMES L. SITTERLY, will attend the Electrical Computer Program Institute, Syracuse, where he will major in Programming. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Sitterly, 131 Brook St.

KATHRYN STARK, will attend Utica College, where she will major in liberal arts. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Stark, 7 Division St.

LORRAINE TOMEI, will attend SUNY at Cortland, where she plans to major in Liberal Arts. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Tomei, 10 George St.

MacFARLAND TORBITT, will attend Adirondack Community College, Glenn Falls, where he will major in Liberal Arts. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Torbitt, Ilion RD 1.

KAREN UNSINN, will attend Herkimer County Community College, Ilion, where she will major in Liberal Arts. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Unsinn, 173 E. Clark St.

ROBERT VanWLNKLE, will attend Monroe Community College, Rochester, where he will major in Political Science. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alan VanWinkle, 451 Otsego St.

THOMAS VIVLAMORE, will attend Paul Smith's College, Paul Smith, N.Y., where he will major in forestry. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Vivlamore, 86 N. Fourth Ave.

SANDRA J. WERTHMAN, will attend SUNY at Oneonta, where she will major in Liberal Arts. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Werthman, 7 W. Prospect St.
