James Barnes, Lee Purple Win Ilion Class Honors ILION - June was a busy month for the Milton Hegeman family, with three graduates in the household and attendant festivities. Daniel graduated from kindergarten in Annunciation parochial school, when the children presented the Nut Cracker Suite with music adapted to their talents. Parents and sisters of the school fashioned scenery and costumes. A week later, Carol graduated from the school's eighth grade, valedictorian of her class. Church and school held special observances. Final commencement was when Richard received his diploma from Ilion High School. In September he will enter Clarkson College at Potsdam to study for an electrical engineering degree. The Hegemans live at 162 John St., and enjoy working and playing together, as frequent fishing trips to state vacation spots and hot dog roasts in their newly constructed backyard fireplace testify. Mr. Hegeman is factory manager of the Library Bureau plant in Herkimer. Mrs. Hegeman, a busy housewife, take part in activities of women's organizations in the Church of the Annunciation.
