David "Rocky" Cramer Obituary David Nicolas Rockefeller Cramer, 18, of 45 Catherine St., who was injured fatally Mar. 16, 1942, in an accident near Little Falls, was born in Utica, a son of Nicholas and Carlotta Rockerfeller Cramer. He attended the John F. Hughes School, Utica, until his family came to Ilion in 1936 when he entered Ilion High School. Cramer was a senior this year. His football activity gained him the unanimous choice by coaches of the Mohawk Valley Interscholastic League as all-star fullback last fall. He also held track honors for district meets. He was a bass singer in the Varsity Choir and was to have played the second lead role in the operetta this week. Cramer was a member of the Orpheon Society, honorary musical society and he attended the Presbyterian Church. David Cramer was born in Utica, a son of Nicholas and Carlotta Rockefeller Cramer, and has resided in Ilion since 1936. Besides his parents, he leaves a brother, Raynord; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Rockefeller, Mohawk, and Nicholas Cramer, Sr. Buffalo. The funeral will be at 2 p. m. Wednesday from the Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Paul Wagner officiating. Burial will be in the mausoleum in the Herkimer Cemetery.
