Banks Will Address Ilion High Gridders

Former College Coach, Now Head of New Dormitory

at St. Lawrence University, Will Be Guest Speaker Wednesday Night

Ilion, Nov. 9 - Beals Banks, superintendent of the new $600,000 dormitory at St. Lawrence University, and former football coach at the University of Tennessee, Center College, Kentucky, and Ohio State University, has been selected as the guest speaker for the Ilion High School grid banquet to be held at Annunciation Hall on Wednesday.

NATIVE OF ILION

Mr. Banks is a native of Ilion and spends his summers in this village. In his undergraduate days at Syracuse, he was quarterback on the Orange eleven.

Tickets were placed on sale today and are selling rapidly. They can be secured at Mallery's and at Powers News Store.
