This landmark is West Hill School. West Hill School was completed in 1897 with six rooms. An addition of fourteen rooms and a gymnasium was finished in 1925. Today it is the home of the Herkimer County Detachment 227 Marine Corp League. The winner was Kris Ritton IHS 1987.
