Dr. Vincent Bonvino is the son of the late Vincent and Mary Bonvino. His family home was at 37 Harriet Avenue in Ilion. He graduated from Ilion High School in 1963. He graduated from Utica College and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1970. Dr. Bonvino began his dental practice in Ilion. He is still in practice, at 12 Central Plaza, in Ilion.

Dr. Vincent Bonvino married Carol Marie Burrell July 11, 1968. They reside in Herkimer, NY where they raised their family. Their daughter, Dr. Alysia Bonvino is also a dentist and graduated from Ithaca College and the State University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1998. Her dental residency was spent at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center.
