Welcome

The Ilion Days Mission Statement is:

"To hold a community celebration in Ilion, in mid-summer, in a way that promotes togetherness in a safe and healthy environment for all people, that is non-racial, non-political and non-denominational, so that we can extend the hand of friendship to our neighbors near and far."

All Activities are organized and operated 100 percent by volunteers...NOT by the Village of Ilion, although it is an AdHoc Committee of the village and therefore covered by village insurance. It is not financially supported by village tax monies. The funds raised are kept in a separate bank account NOT under the control of the Village of Ilion. Part of the profits made each year are used to benefit the Village.

Previous years' monies have purchased the following for the benefit of the people of Ilion:

1989 - Beautification of the Ilion Marina

1992 - A Microfilm machine for the Library

1993 - A defibrillator for the Ilion Ambulance
