The half-mile course was laid out by the Northern New York Paddlers, who also furnished
the canoes, paddles and lifejackets. The sprints have been sanctioned with the United
States Canoe Association.
The magnificent MOHAWK CUP, a gift of Oneida SEsperance - June 26ilver, will be awarded to the grand
winners and will stay in their community until next year.

All winners received medallions and have been invited to compete for the
coveted Mohawk Cup, in the "Finale", to be held in Canajoharie on August 21, at 2 pm.
Prior to the race, the last sprint will be held at 10 am at Waterfron Park in Canajoharie.
