Proms were big productions which took days to decorate. The centerpiece was the focal point of the prom and reflected the theme. Some centerpieces included: fountains, a canal and gondola, an ice cream sundae with a forty foot replica of the Good Ship Lollipop, pagodas, windmills with a tulip garden and a stairway to heaven.
