With exams cropping up at every turn, Ilion High students have been kept most busy this week. But tests have set no damper on the excitement over the basketball game with Oneonta tonight. Ilion's Golden Bombers will face the Oneonta Yellowjackets determined to repay them for their victory over the Bombers earlier in the season.

The Ilion High Student Council met Wednesday evening in the school cafeteria. There was an added feature to this meeting. The members were given an opportunity to question Mohammed Hashim Makkawi, this year's exchange student from Saudi Arabia. This was a great chance for the students to learn many new and interesting things about Hashim and his country.

More definite plans were made concerning the candy sale which will be sponsored by Council. The students will be selling candy during the first part of April. The proceeds will go towards sponsoring another exchange student next year.

Thirtyfive Ilion High students are attending the annual All County Music Festival held yesterday and today at West Canada Valley High School. Rehearsals were held Friday and today, with a concert set at 8 tonight.

The choir is directed by Dr. Fredric F. Swift, a professor at Hartwick College. Attending from Ilion are Pat Allen, Nancy Rossi, Pat Trevor, Mary Carney, Marshrf Davidson, Judy Gray, Sharon Chambers, Sue Backman, Jim Petrei, John Miller, John Peterson, and John Bullis.

The orchestra is conducted by Donald Barlow. Ilion students attending are Marcia Radley, Linda Patrei, Jackie Bechard, Pam Lyman, and Carla Braun.

The senior band is conducted by John Bullock. Bill Miles, Ron Parshall, Francis Plano, Jayne Maxson, Bob Bluett, Dick Candella, Ron Tresohlavy, Ken Wood, Russ Wagner, and Larry Hollar are representing Ilion.

Conducting the junior band is Charles Xreis from West Winfield. Participants from Ilion are Caryl Chambers, Kathy Stark, Kirk White, Chris Rowlands, Marianne Whitney, Lynn Goldberg, Ken Maurice, and Glenn Smith.
