Photo Caption - MERSEY SIDE FIVE, an instrumental rock and roll group from Ilion, won first place in the CYO Battle of the Bands last week in Notre Dame High School, Utica. Comprising the group are: Bill Ortlieb, lead guitar, Bob Crossway, base; Gary Rigo, drums; Greg VanValkenburg, rythym guitar, all of Ilion, and Bruce Ward, organ, of West Winfield.
