Hey everybody, what's up? Finally got around to signing the guestbook to let everyone know what is going on with me. Well not a whole lot really. I go back to Ilion when I get a chance but usually not to often. When I do go back usually hang out with Ryan English and Tom Peterson. It is good to see that the High School maintains a web page. I ran into Wendy Spina and Mary Enjem here in Rochester not to long ago and got to thinking about what everyone is up to. Well I guess that we'll find out in three years at our reunion.

"What a long strange trip it's been." Well, life has been very interesting. After graduating from HS I joined the Navy and spent 6 years looking for submarines and traveling around the Caribean and Mediteranian. I left the Navy in July 1990 and married Julie Cirillo from Mohawk (We dated th last 2 years of HS). I graduated from MVCC and SUNY and got a job with CSC (Computer Sciences Corporation) here at Rome Laboratory. Earlier this year I took a postion with Rome Research Corporation as a Network Analyst also at Rome Labs. I am currentl working on an MS in Telecommunications via a distance learning program at the University of Colorado. I have two great kids (Luckily they look like their Mom). Paulie is a VERY active 2 year old who is already shooting hoops and running fast breaks. Juliana is 5 months old and starting to be active like her brother.

Great Site. My wife Kay ( I met her at Syracuse U.) is due with our first child on November 17th. We don't know the sex, but a healthy baby of any variety will do just fine. We are planning on a big family, so this should be the first of about 4 or fi e kids. Here's what I have been up to: After IHS, I got a B.S. in Math from Syracuse, was commision a 1Lt. in the Air Force (I never had to serve a day -- call me the peace dividend, baby) and an MBA in Finance from SUNY Albany. I have been working the past si years at General Re, North America's largest property and casualty reinsurance company. I manage a portion of the firms investment portfolio (municipal bonds, specifically). I get back up to Ilion occcasionally to see my mother and enjoy the frsh air and great scenery (Ok, the fact that I can play golf without a hassel is important too). Great idea for a web site. Fellow 1984 grads, and other friends are invited to email me. My passions now include fine cigars, red wine, microbrewey beer, and general revelry. If you get to Southern, CT, look me up, and we'll tip a few. JS

Real nice to have an Ilion page online. a friend just mentioned he'd checked the web for his hometown, so I thought I give it a shot. Spent my first 29 years here before moving to Arizona. I spent my teenage years playing in the 'Manhattans' and the 'Jump ng Jacks' for all you oldtimers out there. I'm and Arizona State Unive alumn and going for a Masters in Computer Graphics and living in a great retirement community..even though I'm not retired. I'll be checking back often to see what's going on. Some of my old friends who live in Ilion are Tom and Doreen Baldock (who have kids at Ilion HS) and Bob Clive..and many more.

My brother Tom ('78) who also lives in Rochester, stumbled onto this site and told me about it. I get home about once a month to see the folks but it's nice to know I can get home anytime I want with this very well put together web site.
