My sister, Andrea told me about this site when we were home over the holidays. It took me until January to register and now February to write. It's a fabulous site, Aileen, thank you. I'm the single parent of two great sons, Richard, 12 and Michael, 5. I'm a CPA and until Richard was born, I worked for a big firm in Boston. Then for several years I worked on my own. Now, I'm a financial officer in a small company and continue to ser ice a few consulting clients. My children, home, and work keep me pretty busy. My parents still live on John Street, so I get home a couple of times a year. My sisters and I usually make it to the Elks Club during one of our trips. I always have a blast. I really enjoyed my years at Ilion High School and would love to hear from o d friends.

Hello Ilion, Well I didn't graduate from Ilion but I have two brothers that did. Mark Potter and Leigh Potter. I did go to North Street School in the early 60's and I also went to Ilion high school in 7th grade. I was just looking for some of my old clas mates from my gradeschool. Hello to all. I work at home doing medical transcription and taking care of my three beautiful children. My husband and I live in a new house out the outskirts of Frankfort, so we're not too far away. I would love to hear from old friends.

Finally hit the 65 so I can ski at Mammoth for 1/2 price!! Been in Anaheim 35 years. Semi-tretired as I couldn't stand retirement and too young to golf. Been busy pasy years managing Pony and Colt leagues, proud to have several kids I've had go on to pr ball!! Have 2 daughters and 5 grandkids. In spare time we go to the beach, mountains and the Colorado River. Refuse to grown old!! Even roller blade and played softball with the youngin's for a couple of years. Teaching the grand kids to ski at Mammo h and attending their ballgames. Keeping busy and keeping young! If you plan a trip to CA look us up!

Lived in Anaheim now for 35 yrs. Barney is semi-retired and working for a Comm. constr. co. as Warehouse/purchaser. I am Sect'y to the Code Enforcement Mgr. for the City of Anaheim (few more years till retirement). Have 2 children (well adults now) daug ter one in Seattle and one in Hungtington Beach and 5 grand children (doing the cheerleading bit again as our oldest grandson, a 6'6" Jr. is playing on Katella High's varsity team) Have contacted several "ole" shcool chums now on the internet and Barney i happy as I correspond with our Finnish daughter and save on the phone bill. Drop a line or if you plan to visit beautiful So. CA and Disneyland.

See I told you all that there was life after Ilion! I suggest that none of you decide to raise a family in San Francisco, unless you'd like your children to have ME as one of their teachers. I'm still in school and looking forward to starting my credentia program soon. If there is a way to avoid the responsabilities of adulthood I knew I could find it--everlasting school. Just a note for most of the class of '76 - I believe the odometer is clicking over on 4-0 for most of us this year. Happy birthday.... I also saw the note from Dave Irving (mentioned by a few others) regarding the McMillans. I too wondered where they went and give them a thought when passing Canajoharie (never could spell the place) on thruway on trips west from Vermont, especially afte my daughters took up violin and percussion, and most recently piano. In other strange ironies, Stewart Robertson ('66) also teaches at Norwich University and has an office next to mine, in addition to living three houses down the street and having a son in my youngest daughters class!

I did go to our 38th re-union but I was late because I still have two boys at home still in high school and they had a baseball game that day. Living here in Oneida is great and still go to Bomber territory for my sons Steve and Sam Baseball, Football and Basketball games. Greetings to fellow '84 alumni! This Web site is a great idea! To catch you up on where I've been...after graduating and spending 3 semesters at MVCC, I graduated from Clarkson U. in '88. I then, and now, work for Borg-Warner Automotive as a Test Engin ering Supervisor. That is where I met my wife, Denise. We built our own house a few years ago here near Ithaca, and it still isn't done! We have a daughter, Alexandra (Allie), 4, and a son, Matthew, 7 months. We enjoy boating in the Finger Lakes durin the two nice weeks in Upstate NY! I dug out the '63 MGB from 10 years in moth balls this winter, with new paint and a lot of luck it might be running this summer. I would like to hear from fellow class mates!

I was reading through the guestbook and saw Dave Irvings' (Class of 1975) request in his signature of the guestbook. I would also like to find out information on the McMillans. I was wondering how to go about and get some and decided to follow dave's le . Every time I travel north on the thruway i make my whole family (the husband and both kids) wave to Mrs. McMillan when we pass Canajoharie. I've been doing this for 12 years now, even though my husband thinks i'm nuts. (he may think i'm crazy but eac time he waves his hand and says "Hi, mrs. mcmillan".) So if anyone out there can help me that would be great!!!

Just wanted to thank my fellow alumni for all of the positive feedback I've received on the Alumni Website. It's been great fun creating and a true learning experience, as well.

As some of you may already know, my family roots in Ilion date back to 186 when my Great Grandfather Patrick Joseph Carney II, emigrated from Ireland. My father, Dr. Theodore R. Carney, Class of 1936, was also an IHS alumnus. His father, James Edward Carney, graduated with the Class of 1905. My own children are enrolled in the Ilion schools. As Linda Ellerbee would say, "And so it goes".

First off, I am so pleased to have found this site before my sister did. She was in the class of 1952. I keep wondering when I am going to get invited to a class reunion. This is great! Mark Stephenson sent us the information in his X-Mas Card! It's hard to believe Joe and I have been married for almost 14 years and living in Houston for 9. We've been busy with our son Justin who will be 12 in March, is 5'6" tall (Yes-I' looking up to him!) and excels at every sport he plays. The Bombers would love him. Then there is our daughter Kara, 7 1/2, our blonde hair, blue-eyed dancer who gets more phone calls than Joe and I do. Hope to hear from y'all soon!

Thank you for your remarkable work in assembling this web page. I've hardly begun to explore all that intrigues me, so I'll visit frequently. My wife (Sandy Collins, Class of '75) have resided in Northern California for more than ten years now. We have a aughter, Alexandra, who is eight, and a son, Joseph Maxwell (aka Max) who is five. Sandy is a mortgage banker, and I am a librarian. We still have family in the valley, so return their every year or so to enjoy the beautiful Upstate countryside. I'd like o know if anyone hears from the McMillans since their retirement. I'm sure I gave Mrs. Mac an ulcer, and I wanted to tell her that of all that I learned in high school, I still play the bass regularly and enjoy it exceedingly. Are there any old timers looking in? I retired to Florida,near Dizzyworld,in 1995. Very nice down here but still miss the valley. Would enjoy contact from classmates as I am on line nearly every day, not much to do during the cold winter months when it gets down in the 40's :-) Very good job on the site, keep up the good work. Wow!! I Have been browsing this site since early Dec. and get a smile on my face each time. For the past five years I have been living in Colorado with my wife, Kathleen (Frank), 1984 alumni,and two kids Riley 3yrs and Emma 6mos. We love it out here, w th our home high in the rockies at 9000' above sea level the veiws are endless. Although, we often think of Ilion and this is one great way to keep in touch. Terrific site!!!!

Learned about the web site by by sister who still lives in the Valley. After graduation I joined the Army and went to Korea and Oklahoma, where I met my husband. I got out before going to Germany, so we could stay together as a family. After Germany, w moved to Tennessee where we are now. I have two wonderful boys, Jeremy, 9 and John 5. Looking to come back to New York in the near future. This is a great site. Hope to be able to make the next reunion since I missed the last one.
