Ilion High 1878 Senior Class Facts
As reported in "1904 Alumni Publication"
Class Characteristics and Incidents
Class was equally divided ---half girls, half boys. Learning. Good behavior. Brilliancy. Ability. Beauty (?) of members. Distinguished for being the first class to add the second generation of alumni. Delightful "May days," one being a trip up the Mohawk in row boats. "On these field days we came to know our teachers in a different way, and were more closely united in friendly relations with one anohter." At one of the reunions of the class at the home of Mrs. Quaife, the late arrival of the turkey delayed the festivities somewhat, but the baby furnished amusement for the guests until the feast was ready.
