Ilion: Death of Mrs. Bridget Meehan, 77, occurred early yesterday, Oct. 31, 1936 at her home, West River Street, following a week's illness.

Ths daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Carney Sr, she was born in County Roscommon. Ireland, and came to Ilion with her parents at the age of 7. Fifty years ago she married Michael Meehan of this village. He died 33 years ago.

Mrs. Meehan attended the Church of Annunciation and was a member of us Altar-Rosary society;and the LCBA.

Surviving are five children, Mrs. Fred Pluckett, Ilion; Eugene, Utica; Mrs. Hubert McShalley and Joseph, Ilion and Albert, Syracuse; also one brother, Patrick, Schenectady.
