The Salvation Army is honoring Jim Garnsey , IHS Class of 1949, at their 11th Annual Civic Dinner. The Dinner will be held on Thursday, April 10 at 6:30 PM at the Best Western in Little Falls. For more information or to purchase tickets ($18) please call The Salvation Army at 315-866-1240. Please purchase tickets by Wednesday, April 9th.

Jim served the community as Mayor from 1971-1981 and he has donated many years of his time and talent to volunteer organizations including: Mid York Library, Ilion Housing Authority, H.A.R.C., HCCC, The HCCC Foundation, and The Little Falls Hospital. Recently, Jim served on the Sesquicentennial and Mega-Reunion committees in 2002. "Whatever he does, he does right and with whole-hearted enthusiasm! He is a true Community Asset".
